Most release groups correctly release this as two episodes, so ultimately it should have downloaded (from another group). For example, the premiere for The Big Bang Theory, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Modern Family, and How I Met Your Mother all started their new seasons with two back-to-back episodes but the episodes were released individually so no manual downloading was required.
