Open Sans comes in lots of weights; we have them all installed. However in Word the Light weight shows up as a distinct typeface called ‘Open Sans Light’. The typeface called ‘Open Sans’ just has the Regular and Bold weights. Obviously the font showing up as ‘Open Sans Light’ doesn't have a bold weight. I tested with current production version i.e. 16.14.1 and the insider fast version 16.16. Though the fonts are not visible in 16.14.1, they are available in version 16.16.
